Name: Kaige
Age in human equivalent: 17
Personality: Pretends to be a sarcastic grouch towards everyone except for Gerra (g-air-ah), his only true friend, even though he is actually really outgoing and fun-loving. He is just too afraid of hurting others unintentionally when possessed by the DarkFlame (inside of cage). He opens up to Gerra because she has a mechanical heart and is therefore not affected by the DarkFlame.
Favorite color: White
Least favorite color: Purple
Likes: Silence, being alone, small cramped spaces, his only friend Gerra
Dislikes: Loud noises, crowds, the cold, anyone except for Gerra, annoying sounds
Fears: Fire, crowds, DarkFlame, hurting others, creepy bugs (spiders, centipede, etc.)

Short Backstory:
Kaige was born with half of a heart, one lung, three legs, and only part of his liver as the son of a astronomer studying dark matter. Desperate to save his son, Kaige's father created something similar to dark matter called dark energy taking the form of purple flame that would run his body properly with the help of radiation. The experiment appeared to have worked, running his body the way his heart would and giving him the energy oxygen and food give to your body without requiring him eat anything or even breathe EVER. This caused him to become considered one of the "walking dead." In order to retain this dark energy, his chest and some of his lower body were replaced with a cage made out of metal from a meteorite. Strangely, it retained the dark energy like electrical wires wrapped in rubber---allowing the electricity to circulate and power things but never to escape. However, it could not be anticipated that the dark energy would rebel. While it did cooperatively allow Kaige to survive and even live forever, it connected itself to Kaige's spirit and had the ability to possess him at will.
